I was in New Orleans for...

I was in New Orleans for a couple of days and was hoping to hit some clubs. After reading the review of the clubs on Bourbon Street, I decided to avoid the big ones and I prefer lower profile clubs. I finished up my work around 12pmm and had to leave for the airport by 3/3:30, so I decided on Visions.

The area is certainly the "other side of the tracks", very run down and I imagine a bit dicey at night. But since it was day time, I felt comfortable. The parking lot is huge and you just get the feeling that nobody is going to mess with your car here.There were only a few cars in the lot so I really didn't know what to expect. The doormen/bouncers were very friendly and it cost $4 to get in and in return received a ticket for a free beer, which is fine by me since I was there to have a few drinks and hang with some southern women.

As with a club I go to, first thing on my mind is what the "rules" are, how far I an go and what the costs will be. Watching girls dance and show their tits gets a little old really fast so I am much more interested in the action on the ground. I sat for a couple of minutes with a beer at the bar (dancers dance on a main stage and the walk around the bar for a closer look and expect a dollar from each patron) and was approached by a nice lady who asked if she could eat her lunch next to me an keep my company. She was def the oldest dancer, maybe 35 and def the heaviest, packing an extra 20lbs. BUT she was pretty and very, very cool.
