Downtime is underrated
I don’t usually make a habit of visiting Stateline on a regular basis, but I’d made what I’d expected to be my only visit for a long while last week, and I had such a good time with a few dancers that I wanted to follow up with a longer lounge set with one of them, and I made an exception. Sadly, she was not working the following week, but I’d already paid the door fee, so I figured I’d at least look around for a bit.
The club itself was fairly clean, and most of the music was enjoyable. The dancers present were mostly white gals, seemingly mostly in their twenties or early thirties. A few looked like they had done some hard living, but most were quite attractive and were uniformly pretty good dancers (from my limited knowledge of it at least).
This was late afternoon, about an hour after opening, and at least at this time of year, Saturday around dusk seems to be pretty quiet. This is both good (I get self-conscious in a crowded strip club) and bad (being one of the only patrons present puts a big target on you and every girl who comes out will likely try to get you to buy lap dances or the expensive Hydeaway lounge experience—and I feel like a heel when I l turn dancers down who aren’t what I’m looking for).
Being a target the previous week had led me to get standard 2-for-1 lap dances from several different strippers—all of whom were very pretty (or at least vivacious if a bit more plain). The second time, though, I was quickly approached by a pair of girls, who came on as a dual act.
Expecting to have to pay a gratuitous amount for a brief experience if I went with them, I planned to turn them down, but as they made their pitch, I was surprised by how upfront they were with rates and how they correlated to time and conduct (I’ve been burned in the past by dancers who tried to charge extra for dances after the fact or short me on time, so having clear explanations of what was on order was a nice change of pace).
Both girls were very attractive in contrasting ways (a slender brunette with small breasts and a thicker blonde with implants), and I’m only human, so I agreed to one of the lower tiers of their offerings (which ranged from $100 to $2000). Not at the $100 minimum, but still a very far cry from the $2K figure. Despite that, I still got a very solid dual lap dance experience (with a lot of contact and interaction) from both of them for about half an hour, and I had a good enough time that I agreed to another stretch of almost 20 minutes for less than half of my initial amount. I’m not really sure how that sum breaks down compared to what a corresponding number of VIP dances would have cost, but while it was expensive, I felt like I got my money’s worth.
I’m not certain what they would have done if I’d been able to pay anything in the high hundreds or the thousand dollar ranges, but I’m sure interested in coming back to find out!
The level of attention and activity I got despite being a relatively broke, fat and fugly guy may have been largely due to the low attendance at the moment and the girls having nothing else to do, but if so, I’m glad I got there when I did.
(Also, as a bonus, they waved off the bartender when she came around to try and get me to buy the customary $20 drinks for the dancers, which was pretty nice!)
