It had been over a year...
It had been over a year since I'd visited this place and it was convenient, so I stopped Monday night, 6/2 at about 9:00. Don't let the entryway dissuade you. Push on through the narrow hallway and you'll emerge at the end of the bar. There will probably be a couple guys milling around there and sometimes one will ask for a low cover charge, but no one did on this visit. It's a predominantly blue-collar place and some decent clothes will get you attention from the dancers.
After pausing a few moments near the bar, I took my seat. There were only a few patrons, several at the bar and another one or two at the tables and booths that surround the stage. A gal in a bikini came for my drink order and I got some juice for $2 with a $1 tip for her. She proved to be one of the three dancers, all sistas, working at the moment. All were attractive and worked hard on the stage - a nice change from the epidemic of bored stage dancers one often finds. After two songs, each dancer would make the rounds for a tip.
It's a predominantly blue-collar place and some decent clothes will get you attention from the dancers. I did and was approached by all of them, but here is a point you must know. This place is one of those "dancer drink" places, meaning that if you want a dancer to sit for long with you you'll have to pay something on the order of $20-30 for a "dancer drink". The way around that is to sit at the bar. The cutest and hardest-working dancer joined me briefly and with friendly manner and gently touching tried to get me to spring for a "dancer drink", but I told her I was working with a small budget. She then worked at getting me to buy her a shot at the bar which I did for $3.50. My experience has been that the dancers will visit some at the bar and she did.
