I've tried this place twice and...

I've tried this place twice and both times were a washout. The first time, it was late on a weeknight...about 12:30am...but the sign said 'open until 2am". I sat down, drank about half a beer and the bartender says..."hope you don't mind...but we're closing early." I thought - "well - that's different!" I had money in my pocket, and that is where it stayed. A few months later brings us to now. In the meantime, I'd had a very nice lapdance from a girl in another club, who urged me to come an see her at the Red Raven. I thought it was time to check it out again. So, it is a Tuesday night this time...around 10:30 pm. Didn't see the girl who had urged me to come in there and didn't see anyone else I was interested in getting a dance from...not that anybody offered anyway. I don't get it? Maybe it is just a neighborhood bar that has a couple of dancers. Anyway - it is pretty much of a dump and there doesn't seem to be much going on. the bartender was cuter than the dancers! I'm moving on. There are enough other options in the area that I don't see myself going back there.
