I haven’t been to Night Shift in over two years. Parking is still not an issue, even if it is in a dimly lit factory area among dark train tracks. You can easily find a door-ding-proof spot for your sports car (and that’s saying something in Baltimore) on either the paved lot or on the large gravel lot off to the side.

The place has been renovated inside and is a bit cleaner looking than before. Three stages instead of two (there is no longer a waist-high regulation size main bar in the middle of the club). The girls can easily get on and off stage without help and the bar stools have been replaced with low soft living room swivel chairs. The clean bathroom now sports auto flush urinals and an attendant who works for tips, but he doesn’t push the drunks to either wash their hands nor tip.

Beer is now sold here so it’s no longer the BYOB scene it used to be. Funny how the cover charge is HIGHER than when it was BYOB. $20.50 entry, with the fifty cents no doubt doubling the tips for the girl at the entrance who serves your first “free” drink before hitting the buzzer to let you through the turnstile.
