Since they don't turn me loose on US law students since my retirement, Canada is the only place I get to confront live bodies, both in the class room and on the strip floor. In my opinion, the nation's capital has the best place to view the Stepchild of the Arts in its former grandeur. I love this club, but for how much longer this old geezer doesn't know...there is a steep staircase from the Bytown tourist area to the place where one checks and ransoms his coat. Furthermore, to partake of any closer viewing of the luscious lovelies, it is another stair case to the VIP/Champagne rooms where things are more relaxed and my hostess and I can raise a glass, "Here's champagne to our real friends, and real pain to our sham friends."

The girls are all tall and talented, very athletic/gymnastic. They will sit down for a drink but hustling is at a minimum. If you are attending with a friend, the best deal here is a pitcher of beer brought to the table for $7. The private dances are all upstairs....the staircase is best for watching the girls descending the stairs after costume changes, like the Ziegfeld Follies. While there the dancer will outline the options, including two-girl dances and something called an "Erotic Couple", wherein the young ladies will demonstrate how fond they are of each other. I believe that show goes for $50; more if there are more spectators in the CR. To sample Ottawa's burlesque beauties, I believe that the two extremes are BareFax and Playmate. BareFax is the top.
