One year later, same club, better experience

In Ottawa for a few days so I figured I'd check this place out again. Not much different from my last visit and I had the last review over a year ago.

Lots of parking beside the club. It did look busy as there were a few cars in the lot but with a used car business next door and restaurant/hotel next door maybe some overflow from those businesses. If I were using the hotel I'd want to park around the back by the club as it's a sketchy place and would not want my car visible to the drive by traffic in case someone I know sees it. Their is only a certain clientele for this motel and it's not for tourists or business travelers.

Back to the club, entrance down a flight of stairs, no cover or bouncer of any type, just a bartender. It was a Thursday at 9PM that I visited. A couple of guys sitting at a table, had a rough look to them, almost like you'd picture a drug dealer/pimp type of thing, another older guy at a video poker machine, and another at the bar (maybe a bouncer as he and the bartender were in frequent conversation). I went and sat at the bar at ordered a water for $6. I didn't figure I'd be here long so I didn't bother with a beer. The interior has a low ceiling, being in a basement that makes sense. Lots of mirrors all around the seating area. Various tables and chairs and booths lined one wall. The stage was not in use. Still has that disco feel to me as it has a disco ball in the ceiling by the stage that I image was used years ago when they had stage dancing.
