Serves it's purpose in the Ottawa market

Had a free evening while in Ottawa so I spent sometime revisiting the local clubs. It's been a few years since I was last at the Playmate and it's pretty much the same. It's located in a rougher area of Ottawa, it's safe but I wouldn't want to be walking around later in the evening. Driving is fine. Limited parking lot but some street parking close by. When you arrive, the club is at the rear, side of the building, you enter and go down a flight of stairs. Coat check lady collects $10 cover. A very large bouncer is in this area, but didn't ask for anything. Got a water for $8.

It's a fairly small club, VIP area is to the left when you enter the club. Pool table is past this area and bathrooms are also along here. Bar is at the rear of this area. Beside the bathroom is a set of stairs that lead to a massage place that's on the top floor of the building. Stage is straight ahead when you enter, and tables and booths are around it. It sort of gives off a dive bar/ local hang out feel.

I arrived around 10PM and there were 8 guys in the place. A couple playing pool and the others chatting or with girls. I saw 6 girls working. All looked 30+, 5 or 6's at most, all white but different types and sizes. Stage was not in use.
