Scarlett's is the kind of place...

Scarlett's is the kind of place you don't expect much from when you see it on the outside. It's right next to the expressway and it's in a small and dated shopping plaza. But once you walk inside, everything changes. The place is very nice (though some of the chairs could use some reupholstering) and surprisingly spacious. There are several main stages and satellite stages, but in the afternoon they close off half of the club. The prices are pretty average so your dollar value will be about the same anywhere else. One thing that I love about this place is that they seem to attract some pretty high quality talent. I'd say they have a higher percentage of women in the 7-10 range than anywhere else in South Florida, and it's a nude club so they let it all hang out. Part of the reason I think they're able to attract such talent is because Scarlett's is not the place you go to if you're looking for extras. Apparently they enforce that very strictly. Keep that in mind if that's what you're looking to get out of your visit. One thing that bothers me about this place is that they don't seem to understand what a comfortable volume level is for their sound system. Even during the afternoon when things are slower there system is pretty loud. But sometimes you get so mesmerized by the beauty of the dancers you don't even notice. Dances here wre $35, I think, so in that regard your money won't take you too far. In order to really enjoy yourself, be prepared to spend no less than $100 here. It's certainly worth it.
