Ricks's is one of three or four of the more upscale clubs on the New Orleans main drag. I'm not usually too picky about a dollar here or there when it comes to a drink or dance but this club is shakedown Central.

The girls don't make any bones about it. The second you walk into the club they're trying to separate you from your money. There's some really smoking hot girls in this club. But the whole environment just skeeves me out because the during a recent visit with some friends the girls were so disingenuous and didn't even do a good job of pretending to be interested in anything other than maximizing their return on investment of time with each customer.

We all know that the girls are there to make money. It just helps to have a little bit of fantasy blended in. Maybe I'm jaded from having spent too much time in Providence clubs but I like the more friendly, laid back and honest girls.
