Can't say I was thrilled with...

Can't say I was thrilled with my visit, although I confess that I saw suggestions here that I could have followed (and didn't) that may have improved my experience.

I visit on a Monday night, arriving at about 7. The club's more or less dead. There are maybe 10 patrons, and an equal number of dancers milling about and asking for lappers. I sit down and am immediately pounced upon with a sell for VIP within, oh, 30 seconds. I smile, say thanks but I just got here, give me a few minutes, and am given the stink-eye-of-death. Grumblegrumblegrumble.

It's a very large, very nicely-appointed club. I imagine it's gotta be absolutely hopping on the weekends.
