After a pleasant but unfulfilling experience at Crazy Horse, I decided to cap off the night by walking across the street to the Market Street Cinema. I hadn't been there for several years. It was essentially the same as before, including an aggressive dancer who accosted me by the cash register. Now I don't mind aggressive dancers as long as I get my money's worth. This one actually looked pretty good by MSC standards. A short Asian dancer who goes by the name of Lulu, she walked me over to the area along the back near the entrance. Years ago, this was known as the wall dancing area. There were already several couples going at it, though we were able to find a free corner. To make a long story short, Lulu knows her stuff and had me walking down the streets with a smile. One sour note: She haggled over the price (citing a technicality) after we had already begun. I know -- what do you expect from a MSC dancer who waits by the entrance? At least I had a good time, and I wasn't completely ripped off.
