I visited the Barely Legal club on a recent work trip to New Orleans. It is along the busy Bourbon Street French Quarter stretch along with a number of other strip clubs. Walking up and down the street, there are a number of touts out front of the clubs (sometimes with women) trying to lure you in. I dropped by a few that were clearly pretty low quality - pushy women who looked drunk, not very attractive women and bar interiors. I later dropped in at Barely Legal and it had a much more upscale feel. There was a small cover ($5 I think) and it was early evening on a weeknight. The staff was polite and I went back to the main room, which was a large, fairly dark room, with a few stages for dancers, and quite nice furniture and layout.

I spoke with several girls who joined me for quite a while - there were only about 5 women and about the same number of patrons. They were friendly and happy to talk. I spoke to a dancer who was a student at Tulane and very conversational. Another dancer was also a student. They gave great stage dances. I thought the women were very attractive - at least 8s - with a good mix of races and body types.

A downside is that it was fairly expensive. I did not get a private dance. The cheaper ones were in the main room, but off in a separate side area. The dancers said there was a machine or timing system and that it was 30$ for one dance. The area did not look too private. They also have more expensive VIP rooms that you can visit but I think that was at least $200.
