I had not been to the Penthouse club for a few years, but went one Friday night just for a change. There is no doubt this is a great club, and most prefer it to Rick's because it is a lot cheaper. You also get much better $20 lap dances at your table. It was packed with hot dancers by about 11. In fact, the only other place I have every seen that many girls on shift at one time was at the Cheetah in Atlanta after the SEC championship game. the key here was finding a good table. When the club has not filled up, waitresses wait around the door to show you to a table. Look around and make sure you like your table before sitting down. You can sit anywhere and you will still get the waitress who showed you in. There are two stages with really good table seating around them. You can also pick near the bar in the corners, etc. I went on a Friday when there were no big conventions in town and the place was still full by eleven. One of my favorite things about penthouse was that you can invite the waitresses to a private room. They can't do dances on the floor. But unlike most places I've been, if you prefer one of the waitresses in the room to the dancers, that's ok. A private room with two girls for an hour with tip ran $1300. I got one of the third floor rooms. It was huge, had its own little stage with a pole, a tv, couches and coffee table. It was the best private room I have ever been in and it was private. You cannot see through the doors. You could easily have bout 6 guys and 6 dancers in there and have a blast. The one problem I have with Penthouse, and why I do not go there more often, is that the dancers are generally young (almost all looked under 30) and they cannot carry on a decent conversation to save their lives. I like to drink and hangout for a couple of hours before I drop a wad of cash and I have yet to find a girl here who was good company for very long. If you want better conversation and fun girls, go to Ricks. Otherwise, this is right up there with all the best clubs I have been to around the country.
