Upon first arrival the location was odd to me. Its in the back of a strip mall and its neighbors are a roller rink and a church. The windows to Kaos are all blacked out and when you walk in there is one pool table to the right, a tiny stage built up to bar level in the middle of the bar in front of you and a small dingy, dark sitting area to the left with bar height tables. They have a second level with another pool table and more tables but it is never open. They also have a larger side stage in the back left of the club but it is rarely used.
The main stage is tiny and right in the center of the bar at eye height. The dancers enter and exit by walking along the top of the bar (which is quite narrow)so don't sit anything you don't want stepped on up there. Lighting for the stage is horrible. It was not sexy, or well lit mood lighting by any stretch. The club was pretty much empty except for what I would call a few regulars (old guys playing pool and not tipping). The bartender was very nice and cute too, made sure I always had a drink if needed and stayed to chat with me as well.
The dancers however...I wouldn't call them dancers. They looked like the manager was just hiring anyone who walked in off the street. Fat, old, nodding off at the bar..you name it. They barely danced at all and one of them quite frequently would just cut her set short if it looked like any other girl was coming out of the dressing room. Guess she was afraid nobody would tip her? I was there for about an hour. No other customers came in and only one girl talked to me. Kinda wish she hadn't though.
