Despite the DC rules, I decided to venture from my hotel to Archibald's as it was a relatively short walk. I probably should have just stayed at the hotel bar, or caught some live music as the DC rules make the club scene pretty depressing. The club itself was not bad. Sort of a local neighborhood pub feel, but the layout was cramped and hard to see the dancers. Not that it mattered, they were just as bored as the patrons. The dancers were attractive, but there was little interaction besides asking for a tip after their turn of songs. The rules are strictly enforced - I saw the bouncer yell at a guy for putting a hand on a dancer's should when she leaned in to talk him.
