I haven't been in here for...
I haven't been in here for quite some time and thought I'd give it a try once again. My first visit was pleasant enough to warrant a few more visits over the last summer. Here's a summary of several recent visits:
The dancers you'll see here rotate in from Frank Faillace's other clubs (Devils Point, Lucky Devil Lounge, Sassy's, Boom Boom Room, Star Theater, Dantes), with a few random contractors on the side. I can't say I've ever seen the same dancer here twice. If you like variety, it's not a bad place to ogle a naked woman while having a beer. Many of the contractors have been attractive, most did nothing for me, none of them were equivalent to thinking of England, Baseball, or Roseanne Barr's secret sex tapes. Afternoon and evening shifts have 1-2 dancers, with a shift change around 8:30 PM.
The bar itself is a tiny hole in the wall with no air conditioning and minimal maintenance. The tiny part also applies to the postage stamp sized stage next to the bar. To the extent its possible, the dancers try to put on some sort of show, but don't expect anything like what you'd see at Dantes or Devil's Point. In terms of lighting, sound, and seating, there's no way you can call it a club. It's more like a 1950's diner that serves beer. The jukebox the dancers use for music could use an upgrade, as could almost everything else in the bar. The beer selection and the service are decent. It's better than average for similar strip bars in town, but below average compared to a neighborhood bar without naked women.
