Sleepy Yet Aggressive Friday Afternoon

Stop by for the first time in a long time for a lunchtime visit on Friday. August in Portland is funny, because it’s beautiful and lots of tourist in town, but lots of local places that are usually jumping are pretty quiet. That was true here; it wasn’t dead but nowhere near a crowd. Very hot and from the bartender happy to talk through the beer options. All of the dancers were attractive, which is what I remember. What is new if the hustle was VERY strong. Usually an afternoon used for low key vibes, these girls were here to get paid and not shy about it. Was quoted some absurdly prices, before negotiating good morning dancer for $100/3. She made a point of telling me what a good deal this was, and it was only because it was quiet. Dances themselves were good. Touching a lot so long as you are not an idiot, and good contact. But nothing to to linger on. Finished my beer and walked out feeling like it was not a waste of time but also that I’ve had better vibes.
