Ralph's Place is a 'neighbourhood bar' style SC. It is in a strip mall with a pizza joint next door. The first thing that I noticed as the cab dropped me off at the door was a sign that shouted - ADULT ENTERTAINMENT! Also unusual were the signs advertising the food specials available from the kitchen inside the club. The external advertising for this club is very subdued, nothing to indicate that naked gaping vaginas are on display inside.

$7 cover to enter the club with an indelible ink stamp on your hand so you can come and go from the club for a smoke or whatever. No cover before 4:00PM. Private dance area on your left as you enter and a bar on your right. Another bar on the left further into the room, compact stage in the centre of the room and VLTs for your gambling pleasure on a dais at the back of the room.

Only a single waitress/bartender was working the room during my visit and the place was busy with probably 60 customers and approx 15 dancers plying their trade. That poor waitress was certainly earning her money that night. Good happy party atmosphere with dancers mingling and drinking with their regulars. Many bouncers in attendance but no hassle or intimidation from them. All they seemed to do was rearrange chairs and smile benignly at the over-worked waitress. Not one of them lifted a finger to give her a hand.
