So this is the latest incarnation of the strip club at this address in Davenport IA. In my opinion the classiest since it was first incarnated as Links. The new owners are from Chicago, and are bound and determined to run a top notch operation.

I really was a just out looking for a drink near my hotel late at night and this was the closest place open. They have a full service bar which is a plus for a strip club in this area, other than Body Shop in Rock Island. The new owners have put a lot of money into the place and I could tell as soon as I walked in. A full size metal detector was in the entrance way, probably due to the neighborhood. No one was at the check in area, so I walked into the entry doors into the club. The check in guy escorted me back out, didn't make me go through the detector, but did charge me a $10 entry free and informed me that although the dress code is business casual, he would let me in this time in shorts and a t-shirt.

I walked up to the bar and ordered a Kettle 1 and tonic for $7. The interior was totally redecorated and very nice, again a lot of money invested here. There were probably six girls total in the club that I could see, and only a couple of patrons. They haven't had a grand opening yet, plus it was a weeknight. I got a tour from the floor manager, Ken, and he walked me through the All-Star room, named in honor of the Chicago club that burned down (same owners) and another private room, that run $300 hour or so. Next was the shower room with a soon to be installed retractable wall to divide up the room if needed. The private lap dance area was totally redone with private dance room similar to other clubs like All-Stars, segmented with black half walls. Private dances are $20 a song. There were additional private VIP and Champagne rooms for $200 or $300 a half hour, I don't remember all the combinations because there were so many different ones. An attractive AA dancer was chatting me up while I was on the tour and it was obvious she was going to hit me up for a dance. I think her name was Jade.
