After a couple of disappointing stops on Bourbon Street, my expectations were low at Temptations. But I was lucky enough to run into a 30-ish veteran dancer with some personality and a good attitude. We talked as she cuddled up, enjoyed a drink, and contemplated the options. She tried hard to sell VIP upstairs, but I rarely do that without a test drive. So, we headed back to the Courtyard, to the old slave quarters or stables--call them whatever works best in your fantasy! You pay the man at the register, just before you step out the door to the courtyard. And then, it's dark and pretty private. Choose your door and get comfortable. Two short songs for $50, then two more. Very nice, very close, lots of contact both ways. Probably more if I wanted it. But it was, frankly, cold in NOLA that night, and a little difficult to really get into it. Summoning all of my common sense, I declined to move upstairs and left having enjoyed Temptations more than any other club I sampled that night. I'd go back....and look for the same lady!
