Ah, what happened to my dear old Tender Trap? Gone are the days of not getting constantly harrassed and practically getting a hand job on $20 lap dances. First of all the Tender Trap changed the place around. Completely remodeled and really sank some money into it. Went from a dirty old place of goodness to an attempt at an "upscale Gentlemen's Club". Went there with a group of four people and was charged a cover of $5. Some said that if you show up during Happy Hour there is no cover and others said if you show up before midnight there is a $10 cover. Was not able to confirm that since we all paid $5.

The place is no longer called the Tender Trap. They changed the name to "The Crazy Diamond", although the same guys work there. Many of the dancers are new but much MUCH more money hungry. They force you to buy them drinks even before you sit down. I believe each of them have a "drink quota" and is required to make sure they "sell" a certain amount of drinks per night. The bartenders keep a tally behind the bar to verify which dancers are filling their quota and which are not.

You cannot even sit down and enjoy a beer because if you fight off a couple of dancers, more keep coming at you. They are like locusts. If you refuse a drink, they get mad and want a dance. If you refuse both, they stay and annoy you and then will try and order a drink even when you said no. When I said no, once dancer ordered a drink anyway for herself and the bartender looked at me to pay. I refused and began to get badgered. After a few back and forths, I told them I was going to talk to Tommy on the BS that was going on here. (Tommy is one of the Managers/Owners, who sets up special events). All of a sudden they looked shocked and the dancer paid for the drink out of the singles she made onstage.
