JR's is a shithole, but it's a convenient shithole for me. Just off of the 5 train at Dyre ave, it's in an industrial area that sees a lot of car traffic, but limited foot traffic save for the auto-body shop nearby. It's pretty run down on the outside, with a parking lot that rarely has more than 3 cars, but the inside isn't as bad. There is a stage area behind the bar where one dancer is usually up there, and the rest tend to roam around the floor. The 'private dance' area is very much out in the open, but away from the bar and ATM, and the girls tend to know their angles pretty well in regard to concealing things for privacy. I haven't seen the bathrooms, or the back rooms that purportedly exist for longer sessions, but all in all it's a decent spot. I tried to play pool there once, but after paying I realized that there were balls missing from the pool table that the Bartender was unable to locate for me. In regard to people, JRs usually has a black dude at the door (often asleep), who will pat you down and send you in.
