I Didn’t See Any Bishop. Maybe He’s Working a Different Corner Now.
I recently did a first-time visit to Pleasant Moments, and in my recent review I described my love of dives. I’m traveling through the Northeast, and Bishop’s Corner was another dive I wanted to try which, based on my reading of reviews, had similar opportunities for extras at decent prices. This will be a little shorter review than my last, because I have less to say about this visit, but because the last TUSCL review of Bishop’s Corner was eight months ago, maybe this will help somebody out.
It’s in a pretty run-down neighborhood that seems to be a mix of small residential and commercial buildings. Felt safe enough during the day. On-street parking only, which is free.
Yes, the club is on a corner – Bishop and Boston Avenues. The club’s sign and the front door are on Boston Avenue, and there’s an unmarked side door on Bishop Avenue. I walked past the side door around to the front door, where there was a sign that said Not An Entrance – Use Side Door. Okay then.
