Ildas place is a nice, chill club

Ilda’s Place is a small club that is very clean and well-kept. The atmosphere is relaxed with no heavy pressure from staff to constantly buy drinks. The lighting is comfortable and not too dark, making it easy to see the stage and interact with dancers. Music was pretty good mix of hip hop, reggae and reggaeton.

The night I visited, there were about 8–10 dancers, most of whom were Latina — primarily Colombian, Brazilian, and Venezuelan. The majority were friendly. The stage shows were few and far between though.

Prices are straightforward: there is no cover charge, mixed drinks for customers run $14, and drinks for dancers are $20. Private dances are $40 each. For the price of a drink, you can expect a decent amount of contact when spending time with a dancer. The private dance I tried was high contact and enjoyable, but felt a bit short.
