In a previous review, it was stated that this is the best club in Illinois, hands down. I'd have to agree with the last part... "hands down". That's how you have to sit for your lap dance. With your hands down on the seat. No touching the girls at all, while they give you just a tad more than an air dance. I've been here twice and left really disappointed both times.

Anyone that thinks this is the best club in Illinois probably hasn't traveled more than 20 miles from Ottawa. Even the dreadful Chicago area has far better clubs than this. I'm thinking of Blackjack's or Club 390. Kappa Kabanna in the Bloomington-Normal area is way better. And then there's a whole lot of outstanding clubs in the St Louis area. All in all, I'd have to say that the Silver Slipper is the best club in Ottawa within a mile of Interstate 80.

The club is neat and clean, although the last time I was there, there was actually a dog sitting in the corner of the room. Hmmmm. Must have belonged to the owner or something. Doubt that's kosher with the health department, tho. As I mentioned in my previous review, the stage shows are really good, with excellent lighting and good performances by the dancers. My only complaint with this club is that the private dances are about as bad as you can get.
