I had heard some decent and interesting things about Dixie Divas and came ready to spend a fairly large amount of money on drinks and dancers. I was extremely disappointed and insulted when my friend and I tried to get in and were immediately told to leave the club due to the fact that we were female. Dixie Divas will not be recommended by me to anyone as of this point; their neglegence to allow us inside and their blatant refusal of our money simply because of our gender is outrageous and insulting. In my short time in New Orleans I found several much more accepting and exciting strip clubs at which to spend my time and money. Dixie Divas was the ONLY club that turned down my business or gave me any problems.
