Barely Legal is a very different...

Barely Legal is a very different experience. Patrons who are used to "show" bars like Scores or such, and who like the centerfold-type girls, would be better off down the street at the Penthouse Club. On the other hand, the girls at Barely Legal are somewhat plain-janes and extremely approachable. Floor lap-dances are fun enough, and there are couches in the back room. However, spring for the extra couple bucks (I think it's an extra $5 or so) for the VIP floor membership and go up the elevator. It's a lot nicer, it's better lit, there are private couch rooms (which are well worth the expense) and a balcony overlooking Bourbon to tosss beads at drunk, flashing women. The upstairs has a much cozier feel, and the girls take a LOT of time to get to know you and help a weary business traveler relax before even suggesting a couch or private room dance. I go to NOLA regularly, and it's the ONLY club I go to there.
