Solid Gold recently updated its interior and it's much nicer than before. Private booths are on the second floor and there's also a private stage on the 2nd floor but I never go there as most of the time it's closed. There's 2 projection screen on the side of the central stage showing sports before 10PM. It's a relativately clean club, and there's private booth if you buy a bottle. ATM fees are a bit high (5$) but it's pretty much the same everywhere else. There's a nice free parking area at the back. There's a cover charge, and you have to tip the bouncer.

Because it's located in the north of Montreal, you have a nice mix of nationality but you really need to weed out the bad looking ones. You won't find too many fake boobs there, a lot of regular looking girls, some looks 18 years old, a few 9 and 10's. Everytime I go there, I get decent mileage from the girls (grinding, licking). It's a bit overpriced (15$/dance) but the mileage makes up for it. The private booth are open for the bouncer to see, as well as other clients getting in/out of their private booth. The girls are also aggressive when it comes to asking you if they can "sit down and talk", but I have seen much worse. Basically, it's the price of downtown clubs but with lesser-quality girls and more mileage. There's also a lot of stag party, so it can get annoying on Saturday night when you see 2 different guys on the stage one after the other.
