Who's kingdom is it anyway?

TL/DR: Best dance experience of any MTL club I've visited. Expensive by Quebec standards, but still a great value compared to clubs in the States. The bouncer was a dick.

Logistics: Great subway and bike access. Street parking wouldn't be easy, but plenty of nearby parking garages. Many tourist and business hotels within walking distance. Note that the rem (light rail) and subway close before the club does.

Enter at the street than go up a long narrow set of stairs. The fat bouncer stood directly over me, blocking access to the landing. Despite being obviously over 18, he asked for an ID. I was told cover was $25, which he clearly made up on the spot. They take your coat and you go through a metal detector before entering. As with other Montreal clubs, the bouncer walks you to your seat and expects a tip. I stiffed him, as I was irritated by the childish intimidation tactics and believe he lied about the cover because I was English speaking from the States.
