I went to the Penthouse late...
I went to the Penthouse late afternoon to get away from the crowds for a bit and take in some eye candy before getting back out to Canal Street for the Lundi Gras parades. Cover was $5 and the club was opening up at 3 in the afternoon all week leading up to Mardi Gras, as opposed to their normal 5PM opening time. The interior is as nice as I remember and has a very upscale feel to it. There were maybe 5 dancers working and more streaming in. Two of the five were 9’s, with the rest not too far behind. The crowd was light. Beers were $7.25. This place does have some very hot waitresses from time to time.
Dance prices are $20 for a table dance on the floor, $40 for a private dance upstairs, and $100 for 20 minutes upstairs. The table dance and regular private dance are basically the same thing, only the latter is twice as much in cost due to taking up a small room. Most guys just buy the table dances here. There are also half hour and hour durations available at higher prices. When you go upstairs a bouncer makes you sign some type of form stating you will not engage in any sexual acts. Cubicles are semi-private but a bouncer can walk by or in at any time. You will not get extras at the Penthouse, but this club consistently has the most beautiful dancers of all of the FQ clubs. My two knocks on this place are: (1) they cut short any timed private durations you buy with dancers and (2) most dancers spend time glued to regulars when not on stage. I asked girls to go for dances/VIP time only to be passed over so that they could sit with a regular and get a free drink. I finally got one of the 9’s to ditch her reg when I started to head for the exit with my cheddar. I can wait, but I can’t forever.
