The advantage of an afternoon visit is a low entry fee and inexpensive dances. The club is pretty small. There's a dance area, but it wasn't being used. The dancers were just talking together with a few regular customers. An attractive young blonde broke out of the pack and came over to talk. Her name was Mary Jane and she was from Scotland, but looked like she could have been from Southern California. The deal in the afternoon is 5 pounds (about $7.50) for a 4 minute dance. You go up the stairs to a small booth and the girl sets a timer. The girl lets you know that you can't touch and insists that you put your hands beside you on the chair. She can touch you and does some grinding.

It was a pleasant time and she was reasonably friendly. It was frustrating not being able to touch her.
