I stopped into the Hustler Club at 9pm on a Tuesday. There was no cover charge, but a one drink minimum was in effect. I paid $8 for a Coca Cola. I look around and the club is empty. There were no dancers, so myself and the few other patrons that got hawked into this joint just sat there looking at nothing. There were about ten support staff--waitresses, bouncers, bartenders--but no dancers present. What a joke. There is no excuse why a strip club, that tries to play itself off as upscale, should have no dancers there at 9pm.

At first they had the waitresses, who were ugly, get up on stage to try to keep the handful of patrons attentive. Eventually at around 9:30pm two dancers showed--one Russian and one black. The black girl was the better of the two, a 6 on my scale, while the Russian was a 2. It appeared that there weren't any more dancers coming in, at least in the near future, so I finished my overpriced soda and got out of there. The Larry Flynt establishments on Bourbon are definately having trouble attracting the better-looking dancers. Previous visits over the past three years have also been disappointing, but not as lackluster as last night. I will not return to this club.
