I stopped into Babe's Cabaret Monday...

I stopped into Babe's Cabaret Monday evening and stayed for around an hour. The summers are slow in New Orleans; you can get in to many clubs free as long as you buy one overpriced drink. Babe's has a large stage set up on one side and the bar across from it on the opposite side. The back of the place is where lap dances take place on small couches, limited privacy. There is a second floor, which I presume is the dressing room and VIP rooms. There is a huge projector screen above the bar, convenient for Monday night football. Music was pop, top 40. Beers cost $6.75. Babe's is one of the few clubs that open up early. They are open at 4PM while most of the other clubs don't get going till 8PM.

There were only about five girls working when I stopped in. They were 5-9's. Stage sets were two songs long and alot of attention could be had if tipping. I took the 9 back to the lap dance area. She let me roam my hands everywhere, but I'm not sure if this is the norm at Babe's because it was her first night there. Dances were a little pricey at $30, but it sure beats the $30 no touch dances at the Larry Flynt clubs. I'd return to Babe's Cabaret for another go-around.
