When in Rome
Having traveled around the world and seeing many strip clubs I didn't have any high expectations for the little hole in the wall club in Drayton Valley. However it is still better than sitting in a hotel room doing nothing, and this site needs more reviews of the smaller clubs. As I was in town again I finally decided to give the Blue Oasis a try. It is a very small club, so small in fact I drove right past it the first time without realizing, the parking lot could maybe hold 5-7 vehicles. Inside there wasn't much more for space either, a bad directly in front of the entrance, the stage off to the left, and maybe 5-6 tables spread amongst the floor. As I walked in there was only one other patron sitting at the bar, and the bartender in the place so I joined them at the bar. Eventually a dancer had come out and taken a seat with us at the bar. It was soon very evident she was the only dancer there so a show would only be happening if she felt like it. After some time some more guys showed up and the show began, in which I have to say with the small area and the right crowd/dancer it turned into a pretty good time. After I stole her away to test out the lap dance area, sadly I don't recall the cost but I feel like it was something like $90 for 15 min? Now this is where the crappy Alberta factor and strip clubs came in to play, there was to be no contact by myself. Luckily unlike Calgary she had no problem contacting and I would rate the dance on the low mileage scale, but if I include the Alberta factor it was more like medium. Granted this is one experience with one dancer, I am going to have to go in and see if there are some other ladies who are a little more open in there mileage. Overall it was a great way to kill an evening, and I will return to test it out again, however I would not go out of my way to make this a required stop.
