My aimless wanderings in retirement took me to Drayton Valley so a stop at this club was in order. To my great surprise I find the club has never been reviewed so a newbie like me got to TOFTT!

Drayton Valley is a small town in the midst of possibly the best area of conventional oil and gas production in Alberta. The town exists to service this industry so it is not the most salubrious place on earth. And. Blue Oasis exists to service the boys who work in the area.

The club is tiny. One room with a show stage, small bar. maybe eight tables with chairs, and two very dark private dance cubicles. Free parking and no cover charge. The entire staff is female right down to the bouncer/door lady and a right harridan that young girl turned out to be! Drinks are moderately priced - $4 to $6 range.

Two dancers from Toronto were working the club during the evening of my visit. That tells you something right there. Girls willing to fly 3000km on their own dime to work two weeks in a tiny club in isolated Uglytown, Alberta.

Private dances are $30 for 4 min.- rigidly timed by the aforementioned harridan and paid for in advance. No touch either way. I am always willing to push boundaries and the dancer with me was also willing to do the same. We were getting along famously until this little monster door lady sticks her head into the cubicle and tells me I get this one warning only - "SIT ON YOUR HANDS!" It was so unexpected that I almost crapped my drawers. Startled the dancer too but she just giggled. For the remainder of the dance I sheepishly did as I was told. My dancer helped out with some nice surreptitious "accidental" body bumps on my face and groin. I still can't believe I was intimidated by this five foot nothing young woman bouncer.
