I'll be there about the same time. Happened to catch Jascoi and PutaTester on my way out on the last visit, down to meet a few more of you guys.

I was prepared to read some bullshit when you prefaced that tip from the mesero, but that's actually a really good idea. I'm taking that.

Glad someone else noticed it, the meseros here are so annoying. I guess I can't blame them due to there being less area to move around, but geez man, give me a little space.

I don't think they'll let you book that extra night early. When I book with the hotel, their email states that all room reservations get canceled at 1am. I might give them a call or email to verify if you're determined to do it. I personally wouldn't.

While I am also not into chest tattoos, I really don't think they care for 'feedback' on their bodies nor would I suggest doing so.

I think most of my frustration from this comes from having to pay a five and now two extra singles. Handling the cash is such a pain! I've definitely been enjoying trying to get chicas off the clock and going to some of the other bars.

Coincidentally, I'll be there for the exact time frame that you're out there. I'll reach out to you and maybe we can grab a beer.

Live to monger, not monger to live! (Or is it the other way around?)
@OP thanks for the review! As others said, you got price gouged hard with that $200. On top of her being new, I guarantee that she knew to overcharge you because you bought the wine. The wines are like a test; when you purchase them, the mesero and the women figure you're either a newbie or a fool and will turn up the hustle even more. That's probably why you paid $10 for your own beer.
I would urge you to forget about being a cheapskate. In my experience, generosity is very much mistaken for stupidity in TJ. You don't need to be stingy, but don't let them think you're some dumb American they can fleece.
I remember the first time they tried it on me. Mesero wouldn't take my $10 and I realized ohh it's that wine scam bullshit. Sent both of them away and enjoyed my night with another girl who was fine with a cerveza.

with the ficha increase to $11, the private room is becoming a more attractive option. Though, they will probably raise the price on that too.

The shuttle is after you get your bags back from the Mexico scanner, and before the turnstiles. You'll walk down the path and there'll be a dirt field/patch in front of you past the fence. If the limo isn't parked there, there ought to be an HK employee who can help you out. Great review.

Excellent guide. OPIllini96 covered this, but I would have liked to see more words of caution concerning meseros and other people in Tijuana seeking tips. One dollar should do it for robe guy, each drink for a mesero, and the gentlemen who clean your short term room. Don't let them pressure you. In HK, I just let the girl order and if the waiter comes back with a wine (vino) then I'll just say no and send the girl off.
