So it’s open both directions now? Is this going to reduce the long waits getting back to the US?

Makes perfect sense, appreciate the detailed explanation. Thanks for the parking and trolley tip also. I don’t have Global entry yet so crossing back in the day was brutal, definitely will be returning very early morning or super late next trip.

I didn’t even realize there was an east west crossing. I’ll have to pay closer attention next trip. Hope the one I used isn’t the closed one now.

@ronjax, good point. That’s why I asked, always a situation to consider.

What would the benefit be of going back and forth? The Cascadas actually fairly decent and Azul had pretty good food.
Seems like the wait time, especially to get back into US would be a buzz kill.

Was still closed 2-3 weeks ago, no signs of any activity.

True that. Lol, I’m used to using the SND code for other reasons. Yes, flying into SAN.

I keep hearing about new rules. What kind of things/rules have changed in HK?

Went for the first time solo a few weeks ago and had a blast. Hoping to squeeze a trip in every 2-3 months. Would be better with another dude or two, to drink some beers and explore the area little more. Someone who spoke Spanish wouldn’t be a bad thing either.
Just not the kinda convo I’m going to bring up with anyone.
