Yes, Synn COI has gone from my go to club to a maybe someday if something else doesn’t come up type of club. They still have a good set of good looking dancers, mostly at night now (most of whom are pre-Covid veterans), but if they do bad laps and even bad VIPs, unless you pay full boat tips that have gotten outrageously high (A team amounts even for newbie/ B team dancers) why risk losing hundreds and a valuable day/night for very little?

Great club if you like really thick and enhanced ladies. Very different set of dancers vs most other LA area clubs. If that is your thing, this truly is Paradise. Not my cup of tea, but to each his own.

I have driven by Starlight day and night a few years ago but never went in. I heard mixed reviews. There is at least one Asian karaoke bar in DTLA that is still open, but I think it is private ...I knew a Rhino COI dancer who worked there during Covid...she said good money just being arm candy with Asian gangsters, but who knows...

Yes Chyna is a borderline rob, up sells hard, altered at times. Anyone overly aggressive hustling like a bad used car salesman is not selling a desirable product.

I have no idea how 50-100 guys and 40-50 dancers would fit in this club.
I have only been there in the day, and there are only 3-4 dancers there in the afternoon. Very poor quality dancers, with perhaps one looker.
Most of the VIP’s are on a recliner with a nearly completely see through, sparsely beeded “curtain”. I have also been in the “private room” VIP, which is a room with a door, but the same see through sparsely strings of beads, looking out on the stage and the side of their little bar. Think of the JetStrip VIP room with the big window looking at the stage, but unlike Jet Strip, where the club goers can’t see in (2way mirror), at Red Tie they can! Pass.

Good points AP. Girls who rush you into opting for VIP are generally not good. If they are not OK to talk for several minutes, or not OK with a lap dance, it typically won’t go well (with exception for the crew girls...with them you pay, you get to play).
Another good point, thanks AP, the low key girls, the girls who don’t have game...many of these make up for that in the VIP. Try to find a really hot one who doesn’t act all hot...game on! 😛

Yes, I was like that when I first started out years ago.
Now I need a BBBJ to get off, so usually I do OTC. Even BBFS is iffy for completion. I might get some in the club, but I rarely get off in the club.

I haven’t been to Bliss COI in 4 years, but at that time the quality of dancers was far below Synn and SR COI, and below that of Paradise. It seemed very low budget. Every so often there might be a hot dancer. Perhaps the VIP’s are priced to be all-inclusive, including extras, since the low budget vibe attracts little to no tips. I would not spend $200 base price for 15 minutes with a Bliss girl. That’s 4Play in Santa Monica / Crazy Girls Hollywood type of base VIP prices, with a set of Lambos/Ferrari’s/Rollie’s parked outside...

All clubs have gone downhill since the pandemic, with Synn COI going particularly downhill. New talent not as high quality as before. New talent asking for tips equal to what the 1-3 year A team set used to ask. The A team now asking crew rates. The best dancer in the crew is gone.
It is still a good club, better than most, but not quite the crazy high quality fantasy experience it used to be.

I was recently there and was approached by 5 dancers (most of the set there mid-afternoon), in 20 minutes. Some talked about VIPs. If you want a more aggressive set of dancers, I suggest 4Play in Santa Monica.

Nice to see a review of something a bit different here, a hostess club, or “taxi dancer” club...I went here a couple times back in 2017/2018 to try it out, a different concept, can be much less inexpensive than a strip club. You pay to talk and/or dance (real dance, like slow dancing, cha cha, whatever), and/or cuddle with a lady. Not usually a place for extras. I believe mostly Latinas here. There is an Asian hostess club, Starlight nearby, I never went there. If you go Asian, I would recommend the coffee shops I’ve heard of in Orange County, Torrance? Never been to a coffee shop.

Yes, check their online roll call. It’s usually quite small until 2 or 3 pm. SR COI’s early afternoon roll call can be even smaller. I think certain clubs like Sahara, Synn North Hills, and JetStrip try to get at least a small set of dancers early on in the afternoon shift.

Wow, that’s a Suki price (now “retired”). Unless she was at whole other better looks level than the rest of the dancers, AND delivered in spades over and above the rest in the VIP, not worth it.
Suki was both, but still just a once a year treat for me.
The “A team” dancers were $300 in 2021.
And a tip too? Yikes.

Price increases outside of the COI clubs are more reasonable. I don’t experience crazy requests too much at other clubs.
It seemed like when they turned the lights back on in COI in 2021, prices skyrocketed during the initial rush back, as COI was the place to go after a long hiatus.
COI dancers keep complaining about lack of VIP’s...if you double your price, what else do they expect?
Lots of new dancers in COI and elsewhere. Prices should come back down particularly if recession hits.

Agreed that parking is a little tighter than usual due to more homeless than before (a few have always been there for years). I was there Friday night (Saturday morning) at about 3 AM. I had to park 50+ yards north (almost to the light), and I parked in a yellow zone. A couple of homeless people shuffling around. There was some parking 100 yards south but it’s always more deserted down there...I have parked there too a few times. No problems ever, but still feels really sketchy, felt more comfortable parking across the street from KH8...
30 min visit, 15 min couch dance with my favorite, I****. It’s not COI, but you can have a bit of fun, particularly if you like pleasing the dancer vs yourself. No ticket in the yellow zone. 😀

Yeah, not much of a review. For some reason I have never had much luck at BE, but others appear to have done well here. I prefer its little sister club JetStrip. A little sister is always more fun!

Good review. My two cents:
There are a small number of Black and Asian dancers post-Covid, but since the club has half or fewer dancers than before, it went from 2-4 in a shift to 0-2. There is more turnover of all dancers since Covid.
Mileage can definitely occur here. I would guess 1 in 3 will offer everything or accept such an offer, probably more if you are a return customer/favorite. I honestly can’t think of many places that offer more except the COI clubs and some of the Synn family of clubs. If you know of some.different hotspots, PM me and we can trade intel.
