I think going into any club before about 3PM, a monger should be prepared for the possibility it's still functioning as a normal bar ... and no dancers have woken up from the night before to drag themselves back to work..

Yeah for the benefit of non-locals, his mention of "current decore" and a "couch area near the stage" for VIP, sounds more like Playhouse.

Lulz, I could have written this and I was there yesterday too. Several years ago they used to have slightly better looking college dropouts but all the dancers were either in a thick-to-chubby range or "rough looking". I got a few laps with one and left without buying even one drink.
Some guys come here to squeeze and hump a dancer for $5 a song for long periods of time, and call it a good value. But I need hotter girls so I'm probably going to only come here Fri-Sat for a while, when they have their best talent and other clubs are too busy.
Sun-Thur you may as well drive 15 miles further down Wilkinson and go to the Paper Doll. No cover there before 9pm and the women are better looking, and the bar has draft beer.

Maybe one of these days I will gamble on the day staff. But as a local I have never been impressed with the selection here in the evenings. After 10PM it can be OK. There will usually be a few moderately attractive strippers in the bunch, if you do not mind the tattoos and piercings. I view this club as pizza-by-the-slice, not Ruth's Chris steakhouse. You need to have modest expectations and an emphasis on economy, to like what you find here.

Another addendum... I have been back more times than I expected. I suppose I need better looking girls than most small local clubs offer. (You do have to spring for the VIP to experience mutual touching. I have found the girls to be fairly consistent in their grind and accommodation. I mainly pick ones that are somewhat athletic and physically flexible while on stage.)

I pretty much agree with this. I was there this past Saturday night, and like any club, they have their best looking women then. I sampled them through chair dances, but decided to finish the night at another club.
But I'm not complaining. It's a nice warm-up to come here, cover for members is $6 on Saturday, and they have draft beer.
During chair dances I was still receiving light tittyface rubs from most of the ladies, and could gently stoke their legs and arms. The bouncers and the owner left me alone, but did warm some guys trying too much during the stage shows. I think touching here is really about learning the ladies individually on the couches, and being able to play with them without alarming them from making a sudden grab.
I presume OTC can be possible here after earning some trust with the girls. Some of them have been stripping for several years and I'm sure they've heard it all by now.

Reviews for this club are consistently short of enthusiastic... But as you pointed out, maybe as a way station before commuting out of Charlotte in the evenings I could give it a try.

A little more info and clarification... The hourly VIP is $50 for two songs, as other reviewers mentioned, not "2 for 1" as I had written. One of the dancers told me the club takes $20 of the VIP entry and then less on subsequent songs.
I tried negotiating a bit on the floor dances for package deals with 3 dancers. One agreed. One said no but was fine with selling several for $10 each. The last one ignored the suggestion, and kept trying to persuade me to go VIP where she said she could grab my dick.
So don't assume everyone experiences ambivalence from girls, about working the downstairs area for laps. And with the right one, mileage here can get into a middle range.

A corallary to my earlier review, I notice most of the unsatisfactory reviews have been in the afternoons and evenings. I've gone back on a few weeknights and it can be dull here before 10PM. There may only be a handful of overweight or rough-looking strippers in the club.

I would agree with this review. I thought the staff and dancers were friendly, and the pressure to buy drinks wasn't more than the usual "want another?" that you get at any regular night club.

I was there on a Tuesday and thought the dancer mix was good for a mid level club on a weeknight. Maybe this reviewer was picky or he did not stay long enough to meet all of them. There were a dozen or so, and some of them did not appear on stage until the second rotation, 10:30 ish

I lost 50 pounds that I had been carrying with me for 20 years or so. I rationalized that most Americans carry some extra weight, nobody notices, it is not a big deal. All truths, actually...
But it is so rewarding to regain the mobility that I had when I was younger. To sit up quicker, not feel my belly getting in my way.
And receive as well, an occasional compliment from a stripper that I look younger than my age!

Just an observation comment to add, it is a certain personality type that drifts into stripping - women who are incoherent, cannot plan ahead, always looking for the next guy to pitch in and solve their problems. My mother has several stories related to me about relatives-of-friends who drift from job to job, always in debt, leeching of a new guy.
Not all these kinds of women end up as strippers. But it just seems like it is a profession that is a form of flypaper for them.
