The sufferings of millions of humans in the lower levels in the cast, class, race systems throughout almost endless time is irreconcilable with the existence of a creator of 'unbounded' goodness.

Today the business of organized religion is on the decline because there is less of a market for religion In today’s world education and information help people to learn about religions predatory business scams. We have all heard the phrase “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”

@skibum609 You’re not supposed to be so blind with religious belief, patriotism, racism, arrogance that you can’t face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who says it, who does it neither where or when it is done.

@rickdugan Organized religion is a business practice that has inarguably been responsible for many wars, atrocities, and injustices throughout history. The business works on the concept of the non-believer as an "out-group" member who, for profit, must be converted or destroyed. Many if not all religious and businesses claims can be disproven by science and common sense.

Religion:: The business practice of some people to profit from training other people’s mind to ignore evidence, logic, and reason, while being able to believe in absurd fairy tales based on faith alone... and being proud of it, rather than ashamed. “Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.” - Voltaire

OT: Book Recommendations
@sinclair I recommend these books, in my opinion well written and interesting. “The Godfather” is a crime novel by American author Mario Puzo. Originally published in 1969; the novel details the story of a fictional Mafia family in New York City (and Long Beach, New York), headed by Vito Corleone. “Papillon” (French: [papijɔ̃], lit. "butterfly") is an autobiographical novel written by Henri Charrière, first published in France on 30 April 1969. Papillon is Charrière's nickname.[1] The novel details Papillon's incarceration and subsequent escape from the French penal colony of French Guiana, and covers a 14-year period between 1931 and 1945. “Banco” is a 1973 autobiography by Henri Charrière, it is a sequel to his previous novel Papillon. It documents Charrière's life in Venezuela, where he arrived after his escape from the penal colony on Devil's Island.

@Uprightcitizen Governments have used both violence and propaganda/indoctrination against their own people in so-called Democratic, Socialist, Communist, Capitalist, Liberal, Fascist societies/countries. If solutions within these system are so difficult to find then maybe we should abandon these systems I haven’t lost faith in the power of common good people to speak up for the truth and justice. The general population will take control of its own destiny and will concern itself with community interests, guided by values of solidarity and sympathy and concern for each other.

@desertscrub I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of greed, exploitation, genocide, racism and war that the bright daybreak of generosity, sharing, brotherhood, love and peace can never become a reality. There is a right and a wrong in the universe, and that distinction is not hard to make. The good people will have an ideal to strive for truth and justice, and virtue shall triumph at the end.

@desertscrub; Everyone knows that in America It is the sufferings of the many that pay for the life of opulence and luxuries of the few. Everyone knows that the wealthy didn’t earn their wealth by working hard and being honest. Everyone knows that the 1% is the wealthy collusion of business and politicians along with celebrities that benefit from the American System of Government. An ideal distribution of wealth is one that assures that no individual is entirely without the means of housing and sustenance, and no individual has inordinate wealth.

@desertscrub We don’t have that. A society as wealthy as ours has a moral obligation to meet the basic needs of all of its members.
