A society as wealthy as ours has a moral obligation to meet the basic needs of all of its members.

Everyone knows that in America It is the sufferings of the many that pay for the life of opulence and luxuries of the few.

Everyone knows that the wealthy didn’t earn their wealth by working hard and being honest.

Everyone knows that the 1% is the wealthy collusion of business and politicians along with celebrities that benefit from the American System of Government.

An ideal distribution of wealth is one that assures that no individual is entirely without the means of housing and sustenance, and no individual has inordinate wealth.

OP - you are correct of course. If the "new normal" is shutting down the economy to save lives, the government will absolutely have to take over HC and create a UBI. Sad but true.

People in a society have a moral obligation to contribute to society, yet people like Clark Kent thinkj that people who contribute owe an obligation to leeches. Socialism is a scam whereby government drones hget a good life stealing from those who contribute and using those funds to buy votes. Its the whole reason democrats want open borders.

There is a right and a wrong in the universe, and that distinction is not hard to make.

The good people will have an ideal to strive for truth and justice, and virtue shall triumph at the end.

Governments have used both violence and propaganda/indoctrination against their own people in so-called Democratic, Socialist, Communist, Capitalist, Liberal, Fascist societies/countries.

If solutions within these system are so difficult to find then maybe we should abandon these systems

Yes there are a lot of uber rich who have done nothing but win the gene lottery but most who are financially comfortable got that way by working.
