I used to go to Breathless quite frequently since it is a quick drive up Route 1 north from my house, but the unbearable dollar parade and drop off in overall talent level has caused me to stay away. Now that a lot of the money hungry girls from XXXV 35 are working there, you can really count on having all of your pockets tapped.

I third that notion - the PG-rated lap dances here are definitely not worth the money. I have also generally not really been impressed with the talent level in this club either. Too many of the dancers here have been built like 11 year old boys so, even when they have had pretty faces, the anorexic look was a complete turnoff.

Are you sure that quoted price of $20 per dance is correct? They raised it to $25/dance in the VIP room in September 2020.

Over the past several years, it has become commonplace for most dancers who aren't currently on stage to sit at the bar completely immersed in their phones. The days of them circling the bar doing dollar dances in an attempt to upsell you on the VIP room are over and that pretty much stopped when they reopened after the pandemic. Waiting is certainly the name of the game here and it is especially infuriating when you know you are next in line for a private dance with a particular girl and they seem to be doing everything they can to stall, including a constant back and forth between the dressing room and bathroom which Grace likes to do. I honestly don't understand why many of them are even working here anymore.

I gave up on this place a long time ago. The talent was never really there and too many of the girls did seem a bit off, whether due to drug use or not is anyone's guess.

This is certainly not surprising at all:

This review reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Elaine became obsessed with using exclamation points...

I was going to ask who the dancer was who yelled, but how could you possibly know with Mumbles announcing the names in his typical completely incoherent manner? She certainly could have communicated her frustration in a far less aggressive way. But this is yet another example of how the vibe has completely gone to hell in this place. Brad Pitt or George Clooney must be hiding out in the dressing room given all the time these girls spend back there.
And I have experienced the handful of dancers who do circle the bar, but basically skip over just about everyone except for a select few. I have to believe there is more to that than the covid situation.

When was the last time there was a positive review of this place? I've never been here and I clearly have no reason to pay a visit.

@joeyboots Hell, no. It took 5 minutes for the bartender to even notice I had come in to the place.

I was wondering the same thing - the only remotely positive thing I said was that I spent very little money which isn't a positive because I would have preferred to have dropped a few more bucks and not left feeling completely irritated. What kind of totally incompetent marketing person would post something like this in the hopes of attracting new clientele?

I kind of figured that was what the fat dude with the beard was doing whenever I approach the DJ booth to request a number for a dance and he has his face buried in his phone until I start banging on the counter to get his attention. At least the skinny jackass is more focused on his supposed responsibilities, but it's a toss up which one of them is less coherent. I will never understand what the logic is behind their incessant mumbling.

What you said about it being slow and it being boring sitting in the outer bar area is spot on. There used to be a real happening vibe in this place even during the middle of the week, but it just isn't the same experience anymore. While covid is at least partially to blame, I believe there have to be other factors involved as well because other area clubs seem to be considerably more upbeat even if none of the dancers are particularly to your liking.

"Sadly i feel the talent has drop significantly over the last 10 years." - Absolutely and 10 years is a very good estimate of just how long it has been since this place was pretty much Playboy Mansion East. Now you can see a lot more attractive women at Whole Foods.
The whole vibe and energy in this place is just nothing like it used to be and I don't think that can all be blamed on covid. To be fair, GGR isn't the only area club which isn't nearly as good as it once was and the recent reviews reflect this.

Unfortunately, the odds of finding that one winner is slim to none these days. This place is a shell of what it used to be. The dancers, with the exception of very few, are even more disinterested than was the case back in the day. If you want to get any attention you had better disguise yourself as a Smartphone.

It had seemed for the past several years at this club, that the bartender has often been the high point of the visit. Since I have never known the bartenders at GGR to offer LDs, I would say this is a problem and falls in line with the general consensus that this place continues to spiral downward.

If the schedule they post on the website and on FB is accurate, it seems as if they are only scheduling about 6 or 7 dancers on a Saturday night. Last week they had fewer dancers scheduled on Saturday than any other day of the week which makes absolutely no sense. I am thinking this is most likely not by design.

You hit the nail on the head about everything - significant decrease in talent, service and how most of the dancers pull the big time slow down about making their way to the VIP room. I don't get why they do that, apparently they aren't interested in making more $$$. I can't see them pulling down all that much when they do their stage time being that 80 percent of the customers sit around the perimeter of the club and don't tip at all.

I was here a couple of weeks ago and was getting so fed up with the constant dollar parade that I finally started refusing to tip every girl who came up to me and I was surprised that just about all of them simply walked away and didn't hound me. They probably thought I was a cheap bastard, but I honestly do not care. I don't get why they have 25+ dancers om shift at 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon when there aren't even half as many customers in the joint at any time.

I had the same recent experience here except that there was nobody there to my liking. I would definitely concur with the "unremarkable" label...

Sounds all too familiar...I've been saying for years that the talent level at this place has gone way down and covid obviously didn't help anything. But the vibe just hasn't been there for a long time and they really need to hire some higher quality talent.

Is this club permanently closed now? I stopped by on a Saturday night in August 2021 and the place was completely shut down with a sign on the door about how they have closed their doors because of the covid outbreak. I don't know how old that sign is, but just about every other club within a two hour radius reopened nearly a year ago.

I wrote this place off several years ago. In the rare occasion there was someone there I liked, she was too busy staring into her phone to be of any use.
