Actually the security camera thing is standard in Phoenix. All adult establishments must have a manager that monitors all the dances to enforce the rules. It sucks but it is the law here.

It is true that clubs that serve alcohol are not nude in AZ. However, some girls in Tucson are willing to "break the rules" when you take them in the VIP, CR or Cabana. I have never seen that happen in Phoenix but I have now ween it happen at Raider's Reef, Venom and Curves in Tucson. I guess Phoenix Vice Enforcement Police must enforce this law a lot more strongly that Tuscon Vice.
HL in Phoenix allows the girls to set their own price (just as Curves and Venom do). Although the official price at HL is 10 on the floor and 25 in VIP it is my experience that the vast majority charge $15 floor and $30 vip. In fact there are a few girls that charge $40 and 1 girl even charges $50! This is why it is important to ask the girl before you go because some of them charge a lot! I have seen girls call the police on men that would not pay up for their dances. Also, the VIP in HL is an air dance with no touching. It did not used to be that way but about a year ago the Phoenix police raided HL and other clubs and a lot of girls got cited. HL nearly lost its liquor license. They had to toughen up after that. Now, they watch the VIP area like a hawk and if you touch the girl you get a warning the first time and you get booted the second time without a refund. The girl gets warned too and if they do it too much they get fired.
Bourbon is also a air show. Again, like HL it did not used to be but they had to become more strict after the police raids.
I agree that Curves is the most expensive in Tucson but it is still a better bargain that Phoenix because you get more for your money. Venom is the best bargain in my opinion. If you read my Venom review you will see where I got a half hour full nude show (again, a girl that was willing to bend the rules) with maximum touching for only $130! At Blue Moon in Phoenix it is $300 for 15 minutes nude show. Centerfolds (which by the way is owned by the same people who own RR and Curves) gets $200 for a 15 minute show.
Tucson is like Phoenix was maybe 5 years ago before the Vice Police cracked down. I would enjoy it now if I were you because eventually the Tucson Police will decide some day to crack down and you will be just like Phoenix. Take it from someone who has seen it happen.

GAB has went to shit. It still has the best looking girls but they do not circulate well even if you ask them and they sell very expensive air dances. Most of the girls on the nude side do not even get nude. Unfortunately, Phoenix clubs have went to shit. This is why I am clubbing in Tucson lately. It is well worth the 1.5 hour trip to Tucson!

You are right. What surprises me is how they have not lost business. I thought for sure that when Blue Moon started charging $300 for a 15 minute dance that they would not last. I thought there was no way that business model would work in the ghetto of downtown Phoenix with a bunch of drug dealers and vagrants surrounding the place. I thought that they would have to be in North Scottsdale where people have money to make that work. I am surprised as they are still in business and when I drive by it they seem to always have cars parked in front of it so they must be geeting some customers. Where are these welfare cheat drug addicts getting the money to go there? I am beginning to think that a lot of the nude clubs are really just fronts for money laundering for drug dealers so they really do not care if the business is profitable. I dated a stripper a few years back and I found out from my experience with her that the old Eve's Tease owner was a big time drug dealer and he only used Eve's Tease as a place for money laundering for his drug business. That is why it was always vacant. The owner did not care if it was profitable. He had a hard time keeping girls to work for him there.

I forgot to mention he also controlled what the girls would drink while they were on shift. He would only let the girls buy bottled water. He would not allow the girls to purchase soda. Greg literally tried to control the girls. He was an asshole.

I was waiting for someone to review this place so I could see if I wanted to go there. In the past, the only reason that one would go there is because it was cheap. Now it appears that it is pretty high priced! I am not sure if I will go there now. I used to date some women that danced at Eve's Tease and they said that Greg was an asshole. He was a very controlling person to the point he weighed the girls when they came into work and he held their money to the end of the shift because he had trouble getting women to stay they night because he was such an asshole.

I live in Phoenix. Phoenix clubs suck! A lot of Phoenicians travel to Tucson for clubs.

That is true. All the nude clubs suck now. I wish we could go back to the 1990's when GAB did not even have a topless side. After GAB was sold to its current owner it went to shit. The new owner does not seem to put emphasis on the nude side. The problem is that all the other nude clubs in Phoenix suck even more. It is a choice of which club sucks the least. I can not wait until the border reopens so I can go down to Mexico so I do not have to deal with Phoenix clubs.

The owner of Hi Liter owns Centerfolds, Bandaids and Essex in the Phoenix area. In Tucson Raider's Reef (aka the Boat) and Curves are also owned by him. He owns a couple in Albuquerque too but I can not remember the name. I have met him and I will say he is an asshole but he does run some good clubs.

I normally go to Mexico. Right now the border is closed due to the pandemic for all but essential services (needless to say strip clubs are not essential services).

This business model might work on an upscale area of town like Scottsdale but it will never work in the Phoenix ghetto. BM is dying. I can't imagine that they will last much longer with this set-up. Sad to see it go to pot.

They have had to do away with the bush dives. Phoenix police cracked down on that a couple of years ago. The place was sold to a new owner 2 or 3 years ago and the new owner kind of changed things up a bit.

Next time you go into the club, go to the east side of the bar and look right next to the edge (the area of the bar next to the private dance area). There is a bathroom scale. My ex told me about it and when I went in there I saw the scale so I know she was right.
Of course, the club owners are known to read this forum and other forums so now that I have blown his cover he might have moved it. I can tell you for certain though it was still there when I was there on Sunday night. Greg has like a "Dr Jekyl and Mr. Hyde" pesonality. I honestly think he either has a mental illness or he has serious drug problems. When you come into to the place as a customer he is polite to you. In private, he has a very controlling and explosive temper. I have seen his other side since I dated the stripper and I can tell you it is completely different than what you see in public.

Well this would not change the legal risks. All of the old stuff happens but it happens at a much higher price and in the private room. Police would still be able to raid that private room and see what happens.

I rated the dancers a 4. I do not blame the dancers for what management has done. The dancers were good looking. They just were not allowed to perform up to their full potential because of the asshole managment!
