Had a similar experience leaving Playhouse Lounge on my way back to Philly. I must have run across something that slashed my tire - and like yours, my jack was worthless. I ended up having to ask for help: thankfully, I was right by the Betsy Ross bridge to PA. The toll guy brought an industrial strength jack and we got the donut on. I'll assume that at least the weather was better for you: I was out there for an hour in the 40s.

I was out there yesterday too (sounds like this was for yesterday). One girl tried to overcount, but she backed down after the look I gave her. Pretty good day, although there was an unexpected lull after the buffet. The one thing I still haven't been able to master: I always think it's earlier than it actually is because I never account for the amount of dance time. Oh well: I'll try again Monday.

I like AW as much as anyone, but I have to agree with the above commenters. Savannah's has better-looking dancers. The margin isn't that big when you take the numbers advantage into account, but they are better-looking. Last fall I would've argued for AW (and I think I did in a comment on a previous review), but AW lost its three best-looking girls - all of whom danced well - in December and has yet to recover aesthetically.

AW is different from most clubs: Saturday night isn't the night to go. I only go on Saturdays to check out new girls. I think my best nights have been Thursdays.

The talent level is down, at least at the top end. I still love it, but it's no longer the 'must go' spot it once was. There were more AA dancers than I've ever seen there: types I'd have never expected to see even two years ago. They were on the relatively thin side, though. There aren't as many thick chicks overall. I think only one, maybe two girls pushed for VIP - which I found really odd. The curtains are still on the VIP rooms downstairs. The other thing I noticed is that the sports bar seems to be getting more attention and is more of a hangout spot, especially for AAs.

I don't think either this place or DV2 is necessarily bad on late Saturday nights (I've had fun at both)...but the better play is to get some sleep and then go to Follies on Sunday.

I thought someone said Castaways was closed, although my recollection could be off...and there are three clubs in Harrisburg. There's almost no reason to go to two of them, but there are three.

Went today (Saturday, in case I end up finishing after 12) to check out four new girls: Cherry and Ciara on dayshift and Aria and Kayla on nightshift. When I walked in there was a girl I hadn't seen before talking to the cashier. I went in and saw Ciara - who I didn't know was Ciara yet - on stage. Tipped, but she never came out. Remy came on stage, so I ducked out. Same girl was still there, and she told the cashier she was going to Florida fairly soon. I said I was from Florida, she said she was from Georgia - not too far from where my mom's from - and so began a 20-minute conversation between the cashier, the dancer, and me. Wait, none of this is really important...well, it is. It sets up something later.
Cherry came up to me during Ciara's second stage set - that's how long I was out front - and did the 'wanna dance'. Still didn't know the girl on stage was Ciara yet. Yes, this is important later. I said yes to Cherry since she was new and the point of my being there was trying the new girls out. That said, I've noticed that the new girls don't talk ("but what about"...getting to that). Cherry's dances are good. If you like grinding and thicker white girls, I'd choose Cherry over anyone at AW in that category: over Casey, over Dominique and Amber, over Tiffany, over the 'older' girls. Her grind game is better and she's more into it thna anyone I named. If Cherry grinds on you for a whole song, you will be happy. Not 'that' happy, but you'll enjoy it.
Anyway, Ciara watched Cherry on stage the same way that Cherry watched Ciara. Up until that point, I thought the girl from out front was Ciara. Nope. Usually, friends do that: Amber and Dominique did it, and Nicki and Samaya used to. Ciara did the 'wanna dance' and I found out she was Ciara. I was puzzled, since I still didn't know who the girl from out front was. Ciara grinds longer than Cherry - although Cherry asked what I like and I just left the dance up to her - and even though she's not as thick, she has enough to not be a spinner. Blond, pretty, tatted. Cherry doesn't have any tats that I remember. I'd recommend both, but Cherry seems nicer.
Finally, the girl from out front...I tipped her on stage just because of our conversation out front, and gave her more than anyone else. She stayed in the back, she danced with other guys, I waved to her and she went right to an Indian guy. I was all WTF and whatnot, and she danced with a guy who got there after I did and tipped less than me. I decided that I was going to walk up to her and she was going to have to tell me no. I did that, and she said yes. Somehow, it was worth the wait. She and I had fun on the level of what I have with Jojo and Raven. Her name? Melody. I wanted to get a second dance from Cherry - and would have if something went wrong with Melody - but dayshift ended.
Other thing that happened during dayshift: I got a dance from Natalie...who seemingly took lessons from the apparently-departed Mirage. She danced with a lot of energy, which is so odd because I remember when I first started going to AW and she danced like she'd rather be getting her wisdom teeth pulled. Came home to watch the Derby and went back for nightshift.
Aria - who I apparently have seen before, seeing my last comment - gave an alright dance, but she asked for a tip. That was the first time a girl ever asked me for a tip at AW. I caught up with Kayla: her dance was good and had energy, but her facial expressions seemed mechanical. She didn't ask for a second dance: pity, because I'd have gotten one if she did. I left after Kayla's dance. Kayla's a thicker chick who looks Asian. Her grind game is just a little bit below Cherry's.
I feel more confident about AW than I have at any point in 2018. These new girls have talent: both aesthetically and dance-wise. I don't know if anyone can approach the Nicki/Harper/Samaya trio; but the club is in good hands between Raven, Dominique, Amber, Cherry, Ciara, Melody, and Kayla...and of course, Jojo.

Found Casey: she uses way too much leg/foot, but she looked good enough that I let it go for a couple songs. Aria looks alright, Breesa's about as close to fat as you'll find at AW, Carmel wasn't there Saturday, and Desire seemed like she didn't want to be bothered with customers.
Now, today...went to see the three new girls (Amber, Dominique, and Symone). Amber and Dominique are friends from Cali: Amber is really pretty, but Dominique might be the finest thing I've ever seen in Harrisburg. She's in a space along with Nicki (please come back) and Trinity from Savannah's. Problem is, both of them grind for 10-15 seconds and then get up for 10-15 and keep up with that pattern. I'd be broke right now if either of them just stayed down. Symone isn't bad-looking, but she's thinner. She didn't ask for a dance, so I didn't press. Amber asked about one maybe the third time I saw her. I told her I wanted one from Dominique too. Olivia said something to Dominique about it being her first day. Probably Amber's too. D&A's dance style is more like Savannah's than AW. If that changes, they'll be stars.
All that said, I got more dances with Jojo than anyone else. She might turn me into a one-woman man. She checks off all the boxes: looks, dancing, personality...she and Raven just do it for me.

There are five names I've never seen on the schedule this week. I still haven't seen Carmel or Desire either, so that's seven new flavors to try. Four are on schedule today and the other three are on schedule Wednesday.
Of the newer girls, I like Raven the most. She and I hit it off really well. Jenna's cool (although she's not really new: she told me she came back after taking time off). Casey is a nice-looking PAWG, but I haven't gotten a dance yet. Oh, she's on dayshift today.

$20 dances are extremely high? Passions is the only place in New Orleans where you can get dances for less than $30 a song.

So, I just started going back to AW and it's been underwhelming to say the least.
The new girls...I'll start with the ones named above. Cinnamon also dances at Savannah's (we recognized each other from there). Pretty girl, but she dances over you instead of on you. Veronica is a decent dancer and a pretty girl, but she talks a lot and her up-top game isn't what I prefer. Luca is a good dancer, but she's 9 weeks pregnant - walker, this is probably why she excused herself with you. She felt terrible the night I went in and I waited an hour and a half before she felt up to dancing. Haven't seen Luna or Elle on schedule lately, much less been able to try them. Olivia has lots of tats: looks good, seems to be somewhat into dancing, but her style doesn't work for me. I did try Kianna while I waited for Luca: she's really nice and seems to enjoy herself, but she's thin too...about the same as Remy.
Newer girls since then...Lexi is a really thin blonde, haven't tried her dances since she isn't my type. She's cute if you like that type, though. Jenna just came back after a long hiatus, and was really popular the day I saw her. The wait was at least an hour, and I only got one dance because I had a previous engagement I needed to get to. Dance was decent. Dynasty looks decent, but she talked to one guy in a booth for what seemed like forever and I avoid those types. Kendall's an average (not bad, but not 'wow') bodied brunette. If she asked me for a dance, it would depend on my mood and who else was there. The girl who I assume is Casey looks good. Blonde with the right curves. I can never get there for dayshift (I work in Mechanicsburg and get off at 5), so it's unlikely I'll get to her for dances. I'd try her out if I got the chance, though. The only girls I haven't seen yet who seem to regularly be on schedule are Vanessa and Raven. Raven was scheduled tonight - and was the only reason I went outside of my hopes of getting a peek at Casey, but she wasn't there. Sigh.
The huge problem for me is that my favorites - Nicki, Samaya, and Harper - are seemingly gone and Mirage has cut her schedule by a lot. Tiffany doesn't seem to be there anymore either. I'm almost done with new girl recon and there's no reason to go...oh, I forgot Ashley. On a bad day, she would look like death warmed over (older blonde, manmade up top, nearly nothing on the bottom) - but she gives by far the best dances out of the new crew. By far. Would've never tried her if I didn't see her dancing style and notice how guys bought dances in bunches. Anyway: even with Ashley's dance quality, her looks would preclude me from going to the club for her.
Getting back to my point, that's the current problem with AW: there are a 'few' girls worth getting dances from once you get there, but no one stands out as a reason to go. Imagine how a sports team would look after losing its 3 biggest stars at the same time. That's what AW is now. Someone has to become the girl that guys go to the club for, particularly on nightshift. Jenna, Dynasty, and Casey - particularly Jenna - can hold down dayshift. The only one who I would have any hope for as far as holding down nightshift is Vanessa...who I haven't seen yet. Mariah's almost there, but she's lost some of the friendliness that she had when she started. If she still had it, she'd be there. Oddly enough, she's acting more like Harper - but Harper looked good enough to get away with that. Mariah can't do that - frankly, no one on night shift can.

The DJ is by far the best part of Savannah's: even the thick blonde manager doesn't look as good as she used to. I only go for UFC fights, but I found a stream last weekend so I didn't even have to go for that. Combine the consistent awfulness of Savannah's with the apparent talent exodus from Adult World, and SCing in Harrisburg is at an even lower point than normal.

AW isn't the place to go on a Saturday: the best girls are never there. It's also quite the LD factory, so it's not for everyone.
That said, Savannah's is the worst SC I've ever gone to.

What? How? I've been there twice (and may very well go again Saturday if I decide to go to DC) and I've never been pressured into a tip or a dance. More importantly: as some of the guys will tell you, a woman in underwear shouldn't be able to pressure you into anything.

My guess is that he didn't recognize that most of the dancers in Scarlett's wear gowns. Threw me off when I went there. There's no way there were only 10 girls there on a Saturday evening.

The dress code thing is BS, as I've seen plenty of guys with T-shirts and shorts in there.
I'd be willing to bet that the thick dancer is Trinity, who is the only one at that club I'd ever really want dances from.
You can bring your phone in if you become a member or whatever it is. That lunch special only goes on until 3.
Yes, central PA is terrible for SCs. AW is the best you'll get, all things considered. My experience has been completely the opposite of Array re: interaction with dancers at AW and SOH. I've gone to SOH 7 times and 9 people have come up to me (6 dancers, 3 waitresses).
If SOH didn't show UFC PPVs, I would never go there.
There are deals to be had if one is willing to drive to Duncannon, but the chances of finding someone worth even those deals are slim.

@slut: Speaking of 'not pretty'...I saw her at the gas station about a block up the road as I was on my way to the club for night shift. I barely recognized her. Without makeup, she looks like a regular central PA girl - which is no compliment at all.

@walker: Samaya dances kind-of like Nicki, which makes sense since they're friends. Mirage is one of the three girls who I would say is really into her dances (Harper and Teagan are the other two). Speaking of, I somewhat confronted Harper about her preference - just talked about me since I'm a regular, didn't make it racial - and we seemed cool...until she went right back to her old behavior. Oh well: nothing to be mad about, more money for the other girls. She is such a good dancer, though: best in the club overall, depending on the type of dancer one likes (yes, this is the only reason I even halfway care: if she was terrible, it wouldn't merit a second thought). Veronica's on the schedule for next week, so I guess she'll be there. I wanted to try Evelyn once after I saw her on stage, but something (can't remember what) turned me off.
@slut: Angela, hmm...now that I think about it, I would have to agree. A lot of her game is mental, including calling me 'Washington' because I'm involved in capitol business. The whispering and moaning in the ear...yup. I don't get many chances to go during the day, though; so I haven't run into her in a while.

Dances are normally $20 at AW, although there are reviews in which guys say they get dances for $10. One girl sometimes gives two songs for $20.
Oh: if you find the right girl, your experience won't be low-intensity. Depending on what you consider 'intense', there are possibly four girls who'll bring it.

Only handshake was from a dancer. Pretty decent grind action from one of the waitresses, though. It was almost the caliber of what I see guys get at Playhouse down the street.
