"Wtf happened to this place?"...Fantasies went off a cliff abruptly around 2003, right when Club Desire opened and Cadillac Lounge got its liquor license. Back at that time I asked dancers why they switched from Fantasies to those two clubs and the dames would tell me that the old guy who owned Fantasies had retired and that the new management had their head up their ass, so they jumped ship because they got better house fees/conditions. Once the good looking girls left, the customers who spent money left. Then the spiral fed on itself because once the club got a stigma it was difficult to shed that.

I don't think there's any chance the city will win in court and be able to close the club again (permanently). But on the other hand I don't think the club will be able to reopen their private VIP rooms downstairs again... unless the state miraculously legalizes P4P, like it was pre-2009. Yet if Foxy once again reopens an all nude stage like the old Gold Room downstairs, improves it's lap dance room and brings back cool things like the hot oil/shaving cream wrestling and shower shows I think this joint could thrive once again. Saturday nights can be overwhelmingly busy. That may be why you had a hard time finding a couple friendly dancer. I think all the clubs will be very cautious for the next few months... towards non-regulars that is. As far as Foxy Lady goes, I doubt that it will be permanently closed. Foxy has been in trouble before with illegal gambling, mob ties, etc. And the joint always bounced back. Their lawyers will get any closure stayed and the overturned. And management will figure out who they need to pay off. Look at Cheaters for example. After all that big bruhah, the joint never really closed, it just did a much needed interior remodeling and opened with a new name, but reportedly the same real owner.
