25 - Well the poor aren't paying taxes now anyway and actually get money when they do their tax returns. But it is not the rich's duty to subsidize the poor based on some arbitrary income number picked out of the sky, at least not at the hand of the government if they have proven anything is they will waste the money. Private charities are far more effective than any government program.
Now this thread is a total waste because SJG is a total screwjob and logic or facts mean nohting to him.

Taxes have been lowered by Trump which is good, and they should be lowered further. Taxation is theft. We tolerate it because there is a social compact that we get more out of it than we put in, but that isn't really true our government wastes so much money and funds things the average person is against.
It is fucked up that our country is one where you work and if you don;t pay taxes they put you in jail. They in all reality extort you for your earned money or they lock you up.

Honestly at this point it seems like he has nothing, if he did they would have come forward with something by now. How long can this investigation go, how many people can he intimidate and coerce while fishing for whatever he can find. If you like Trump or Hate Trump, or fall in the middle where I do. I don't like a lot of what he does but compared to the alternatives he is much better, and Democrats have been throwing a tantrum for years now about this. This investigation needs to wrap soon.
