I learned something new….that you could park at the spa for cheaper. Huh. I don’t mind the $10 valet but that was never offered to me.
You sure you didn’t confuse your ethnicity ratio??? I’ve been there plenty and have never seen any ethnicity be the majority over the Cubans. Maybe Monday is their rest day?
Was the pushy Cuban named Bianca by any chance? She’s the pushiest of the group and I’ll never deal with her again. Both lap dances and vip is constant badgering. Never again with her.
Good review

Will42 No biggie. It’s been a while since I’ve been there so I didn’t know if something had changed. Thx.

I’ve never done vip at Oasis…yet lol. I’ve read that depending on the size of the room determines the price for the house fee. Is there a certain size or price room that is best? Or are they all adequate with some being nicer than others?

@Will42 When you said “final vip” was in the upstairs booth, did you mean final set of dances or are they using that upstairs as a possible vip area? I guess that would be standard vip dances and not true follies ‘vip’.

I was there for the first time in months Friday from around 3-4:30pm. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Probably 5-7 white girls, the pack of Cubans on the couch lol, and the other 40-50% AA. I’ll try to post a review soon but it gave me a glimmer of hope for this place.

I've paid upfront a few times over the past few years and have had good luck with the exception of one or two that tried to rush me once paid. I agree it is best to pay after for many reasons.

Yes, her real name does start with a 'K" and when I spent time with her at Follies she always told me her dancer name is Katie (and she entered into my phone that way) but I've known girls to go by multiple names before so who knows. It definitely wasn't her at Oasis because she is still in Virginia currently dancing and spending time with her friend (another former Follies dancer).

@ goldmonger She normally works at Diamonds but I think joewebber was just guessing if it was her as she’s a redhead and there’s not a lot around

If it is Blaze, my guess is extras are available. At least they definitely were when she was Katie at Follies.

Many, many of the white Follies dancers have migrated to Miami since that was one of the few places that didn't slow down too much due to COVID. The money was/is good so they never came back. Another large group of the white dancers was the Griffin girls and a couple aren't dancing any more, a couple more bounce around from club to club and don't dance as much, 1 is in jail lol, etc.
Sad times for sure.....

I've heard of the practice of leaving the ID with the hotel reception before, but I've never tried it. Basically, if the ID isn't picked up later that night or in the morning, they call 911.

@Alen I don't even bring up meeting OTC with the few Cubans I've gotten dances from due to them not speaking much English. I guess yours doesn't have the language issue? Or maybe you speak enough Spanish to get details hashed out lol
@DirtyDogg I think being a stripper means you excel in drama lmao.

Evasparkling Yes, the girl I took to vip was $250 for all.
Papi Yes, they had full bar.
DirtyDogg I didn’t see the sign but good to know.
Wavvy if you like Cubans, you should check the place out. I wasn’t a fan of them, but am now!

Idk
@Summit Regarding Vivide vip rooms, they have 4. 2 on each side of the lower, main floor. The rooms are big enough to not feel cramped and have solid black curtains or cloth sheets that are used as doors, so privacy for me wasn't an issue. They are communal in the sense that it's really one big room with a sheet hanging in the middle dividing it into 2 rooms. I haven't had any issues in the 2 times I've used them with people sticking their heads in or anything like that, but you can hear the adjoining room a lot easier than at the old Follies since it's a sheet/piece of cloth and not an actual wall that absorbs sound. Also, the divider sheet doesn't go to the floor in the middle.... it only goes to 'almost' the top of the table, so if you really tried, you might be able to see something, but they are fairly dark and if you pay that much for vip and are trying to get a peek of the next room, your priorities are off lol.

How many dancers vs customers were there when you were there? Did you have the issue of dancers only hanging with regulars that seems to be common there?

@Shadow I'm not doubting you. Like I said, just curious because Jazzy could've just said that she wasn't making money or some other valid excuse, but instead she said she wasn't fired, wasn't suspended but is no longer affiliating herself with Follies daytime. It was a weird thing to say IMO for a business where dancers come and go all the time.

That’s interesting about what you said regarding the upper area being closed off. Was something said about extras being done up there or is that speculation? Just curious. I follow Jazzy (a white/mixed dancer there) on IG and she is leaving that club and going to a new club. Normally that’s no big deal but the way she said it was odd...as if something happened.

@goldmonger It varies. A couple went to Pink Pony/TT, two are in Miami dancing, one bounced around to nearly all ATL clubs and isn't dancing currently, some trying out Only Fans. I'm speaking mostly about the white dancers (and a couple AA) as it seems like most of the Cubans are at Platinum. I hope the money isn't as good at the non-Follies mileage clubs and they all come back soon lol.

On my only visit there, there was a white waitress who I recognized as a former dancer from the old Follies. Also, I follow some of the dancers on IG and many of the white dancers seem to work on Thurs-Fri-Sat type of days. Not sure what day you went, but maybe that worked against you if you were looking for white girls.
One other thing I've noticed from talking to girls at the club, other clubs and from social media is that so many dancers work there, but not for long before they move onto other clubs. Many of the Griffin girls and some other Follies girls. Not a good trend....
