Has potential, but Follies it is not

Like may others here, I've been lost since Follies has closed. Combine that with the pandemic and this is the first SC I've been to since March '20. I finally decided that I want to see if it is anything like the original Follies. Spoilers: it is not...at least not currently. This review is from about 10 days ago. I arrived around 2:30pm on a Wednesday and found that parking was easy since it was less than half full. Courtney gave me a pat down and asked for $10. She specified the money was for parking and that entrance is free, but a tip is very much appreciated. Since it was my first time, she gave me a mini-tour. You walk in on the upstairs (2nd) floor and there are two small rooms with couches on either side and the dj is next to the first one you come to. There are steps leading downstairs to the first floor which is the center of the club.

The club is nice, but has a weird layout/feel to it. One that I don't really like for whatever reason. All of the couches have a thin clear plastic cover on them and there is a bar right next to them, near the middle. There were few customers there, maybe 4-5 and maybe 10-15 dancers. Of those dancers, there were about 4 white and the rest AA. If there were any Latinas/Cubans, then I didn't notice. I sat at the bar and ordered a whiskey and coke for $10. I didn't recognize any dancers from Follies, but one of the waitresses used to work at Follies. For the customer breakdown, a couple were white (including myself) and a few were AA. I spent about 2.5 hours there and most of the customers were AA if that matters. There was one couple as well.

As soon as I got my drink, I had a few AAs approach and offer dances but they weren't to my style. Then a combo pair of white girls came to me and immediately grabbed my junk and rubbing on me the whole time we talked. Shelby and Aleeza (not sure of the second one's name). They were definitely down for pretty much anything and made that clear. A little thicker than what I prefer and I wasn't attracted to them so I didn't get any dances from them. I got a few dances from Mariah, a white girl with red hair. They were good, but nothing too special. I also chatted with Jazzy (tiny Caucasian mix) for a while and got some good dances from her. I asked about VIP and she said she rarely did VIP and when I asked about more than dances in VIP, she declined. I did find a dancer that I was attracted to and I got some good dances and asked about VIP. She quoted $250 plus $50 for the room. I told her I'd do $200 for her and she accepted.
