I visited this club once. After getting the tour from a "floor host" decided it was a scam club and left after about 20 minutes.

The sales pitch that the bouncers give is ridiculously hilarious.

Havelock and Jacksonville strip clubs suck. No other way to describe it. They are fashioned to drain your wallet as fast and efficiently as possible. I am in the area a lot fishing and boating. I don't even bother to go to any of the rip-off clubs anymore. Just head to Myrtle Beach if you need to gaze at tits.

I agree. I've been a couple times and it's not worth the effort. Shame that the closest decent strip club is Myrtle Beach

I think the Charlotte leaders (aka morons) think that "uptown" has a more appealing connotation than calling it "downtown". Call it whatever you desire, it's still a sewer as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with your comment about the dancers being pushy and high pressure to get dances. Be warned that the gals try to get you to drinking so they can hopefully loosen up your wallet. I have fell for it before but now I stick with just Red Bull or a soft drink.

TMC can be pretty dead during the day except for Wed which is the buffet. Usually, there are a couple dancers hanging around day shift but I have not been since the start of covid. I felt your review was adequate and informative. What can you say to report on if you're the only customer there?!! Lol

Nothing in this review sounds like a club ad! I use to live in Wilmington and went to this place when it was Pure Gold. It was nothing to get excited over then and doesn't sound like it has changed much with "new owners". Low entertainment value for your dollar. Thanks for the review. Save me from wasting my time going.

Nice review! Sounds about the same as when I was there a couple months ago except for the earlier closing time. The $40 per song is a killer. If the dance is with a Super 10 it might be worth it. I saw no 10's when I was there!

It's a shame that strip clubs do this type of ripoffs. Men's Club is a classy place but I have heard the same story from others about being misled on VIP prices and inflated credit card charges. I have been in the VIP a couple times but only for 30 minutes and I ALWAYS paid in cash. Never will I trust this club or any other club with my credit card. If you run low on cash, LEAVE!!!

I was there a few weeks ago and the prices had not changed yet. I don't mind $30 per dance in the couch area, but $40 is getting out of reason. Plus the fact that a bouncer is always present and there is a 99.9% chance that nothing is going to happen. I don't really have a problem with a bouncer being there, and I have to say that he has never been very intrusive to what was going on, but I never push my luck too much. At $40 per dance, I would at least like to be under the illusion that something MIGHT happen!!

Be warned that a lot of those "head doctors" are only messing with the head on your shoulders!!

Nice report. CH use to be a convenient club on the east side of Charlotte. That area use to be really nice. It's a shame east Charlotte has deteriorated so much

For once I agree with Desertscrub. Certainly a more glowing review than what I have heard from others!

I was there a month or so ago and she was there, but wearing a black leather coat instead of the fake fur.

It is a very hit and miss club. I seem to miss more than I hit here, but I can remember a few good times!

It's a shame that Masters has deteriorated so. Last year when I was there it definitely had gone downhill in dancer quality. I remember the day when Masters was king!

I have never heard of them charging that much for dances. Usually it's $20 per song at the table or you have to rent a block of time for the VIP upstairs. The inflated prices may be the result of NBA weekend in the city.

Sounds like the old Pure Gold but with a new name and new look. Not much bang for your buck!

It was odd. Maybe she was new, or as you said just unlucky. I have always got decent "grindage" at the Dollhiuse.

Does anyone know if this club has new owners or the same ones that owned Pure Gold and just changed the name? If it's new owners, I might give it a try. If it's the same owners, I wouldn't walk across the street to go in it.

I certainly hope Cheetah is better than Pure Gold. Can't get any worse!

I agree with you about golf season. The traveling girls are good for nothing but scams. The local gals will look after guys because they realize a returning regular is more profitable than cheating a guy once.
