Nice Club that is stepping up their experience, but also their prices.

I personally like the overhaul that Cheetahs, formerly Pure Gold, has gone through in recent years. Anyone who remembers the club pre-renovation, will definitely recognize that the club is trying to portray itself as a much more high class joint, whether it truly is or not. The plus side is that the professionalism, presentation and even attractiveness of the club has been boosted, unfortunately so has the prices.

Cover is about $15-20, no membership card, they just ask for your license. They have door guy out front who is always friendly, welcoming. The club now has a very professional and safe atmosphere to it. The club is much brighter now, not as dark as it was before, but with the same neon strip club vibe. Cleanliness is fine, never been an issue for me. There's really not a big open space for the customers at the club, they've made packing the place with seats, chairs and tables a priority. There is a raised stage at the focal point of the club with traditional bar seating stage front. There is raised couch/sofa seating behind the stage for a VIP section. From the stage there is plenty of armchair seating around the club with small round tables in between each pair, where waitresses will come to you if you need drinks. The edges of the club have no-table armchairs lining the wall and small mini stage that the ladies rotate to after the main stage. Behind the chair seating there is a fairly nice bar, next to the door and front of the club. Bartenders have some of the best assets in the place. They have a kitchen that serves bar food, but I've never been one to eat at a strip club. The DJ and music are fine. They definitely make an effort to keep the music as current as possible, and I have heard a few good gems I didn't expect a strip club to play, but I've never had a negative reaction to what I was hearing from the music or the DJ. Every hour or so they will play some NFL music and bring all the girls on stage to announce their "Showtime" special for some discounted private dances. Nice to have a stage seat for this portion. Club patrons and dancers are mostly white, but not exclusively. Never get a thug vibe, at the most you see a few rowdy good ole boys, or military type from Jacksonville. Always a good number of female patrons drinking and getting friendly with each other and the dancers. I think it's a great place to watch UFC fights.

Since this a college town, the dancers are young and perky. The median age of the girls I see in there each time is a bit a younger than the majority of clubs I go to. Not really the busty Milf scene. I count the friendliness of the girls as a major plus for the place. The newer girls at the club will come sit with you to show off their personality without every seeming too desperate. No attitude if declined for private dance. The girls seem to really notice those who sit at the stage and tip every girl. I've been thanked for doing this by several dancers on each occasion I've been there, and some special attention given as a reward. I think these girls are attractive, management appears they are more selective now, with some of the girls from the old era not making the new cut. Not the kind of girls you would see on any seedy escort sites, but a few girls who do give off that old college sugar baby vibe. Plenty of girls each time I've been, 20-25 girls minimum.
